As a licensed marriage and family therapist, my passion lies in helping people create a more harmonious life by decreasing anxiety and increasing overall well-being.
Specifically, I feel best suited to work with motivated individuals who are seeking to improve their overall mental health, better manage anxiety, alleviate depression, and cultivate more joy in life. I enjoy collaborating with clients to take meaningful steps to live more according to their values. With couples, my work focuses on improving communication, better managing conflict, and increasing intimacy.
It’s important to me to provide an affirming space, and I enjoy working with clients of diverse backgrounds and identities.
I hold a doctoral degree from the University of Kentucky in Family Sciences with a specialization in sexuality and intimate relationships across the lifespan. Additionally, I received two graduate certificates in Gerontology and Applied Statistics. I also hold a Master’s Degree in Family Sciences with a specialization in couple and family therapy and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. I have been working with clients in private practice since 2018.
I am married and am a mother of two. In my free time, I love to read, take yoga classes, snuggle my cats, and play guitar.
